When I go to the Dell laptop support page, it requires that I enter my service tag when I did it forced me to download the Support Assist app again. However, The Dell Update-SupportAssist Update Plugin won't uninstall. I found 2-3 Dell Assists on my computer (the latest w10) and uninstalled them all. I've been using Dell Assist for years, sometimes it "disappears" or won''t work, I've re-installed it a few times, it always worked afterwards. Re-install Dell Assist and it "should" work.good luck.
